In 1775 there was one last attempt by both the Americans and the British to avoid all-out war. The American's issued the "Olive Branch Petition". The British issued the "Conciliatory Proposal".
Political cartoons played a critical role during the American Revolution. In fact, these cartoons had a higher impact than many articles and papers. This episode was hosted by "Benjamin Franklin" and was all animated. This music was intended to reflect the "lite" nature of cartoons.
